Mmmm! Plumbago and 'karondas'. Both plants which I'll always associate with my childhood days. Years of trying to fool elders with the fake 'blood' of ripe karondas now seem to be replicated by my own children trying to pull the same stunt on me.
Here in Mumbai, the traditional Marathi women love to use the flowers and berries of the karonda to decorate their neatly tied hair.

Wow, forgive me I read the other comment too. Karondas produces "fake blood!" Haha...how come we never came up with that? Nice pics. Will return. Thanks!
